Lady Gaga proves she's still got Gaga
Lady Gaga outdid herself... again! Gaga skipped the red carpet, but opened the show with a performance of her new single "Yoü And I." Of course, where there's Gaga, there's a twist: Gaga performed the song as her male alter-ego Jo Calderone. In fact, Jo decided to stick around for the entire night.
Jo presented Ms. Britney Spears with MTV's annual Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and shared an intimate moment with the pop star on stage. Britney and Jo were this close to kissing before Britney pulled away, saying, "I've done that already!" Later, Jo accepted the award for Best Female Video on behalf of Lady Gaga (for "Born This Way").
