I've never really allowed myself to show off my fashionable side on this blog, but today I've decided to do so. Fashion is a special and interesting part of my life; and I'll just be sharing a few fashion ideas, starting with 10 fashion items (especially for women) that never go out of fashion.I
1. The classic white shirt
A crisp, long-sleeve white shirt is a style classic and can be a staple of every woman’s wardrobe. Though it may evoke work or school for many women, it has lots more potential with different fabrics, silhouettes, cuff, sleeve and collar variations.
The good thing about a classic whit shirt, is that it can be worn in several ways ranging from corporate, to casual to semi casual, and can be paired up with almost anything. So get your creativity flowing....
3.Little black dress.
After Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn revolutionized the ‘little black dress’, it has become a must have in every woman’s closet. The amazing thing about the black dress is that you can use your best accessories, scarfs, stoles and shoes to go with it. Keep changing the combination and you have a completely new ensemble each time. The little black dress also best flaunts a taut body.
4. Black High heeled pumps
Ranging from different sizes to styles, the black high heeled pumps is a fashion statement that is here to stay. For a striking fashion statement that will be the envy of your office mates, opt for that pair of professional, yet stylish, black high heel pumps that is opened toed.. For a girls' night out, opt for black high heeled pumps that elongate your legs is need be.
5. Jumpsuits
The best thing about jumpsuits is that they can cover flaws of any body type since they are a little loose. Having evolved from ‘overalls’ that were worn by workers to feel comfortable, jumpsuits have now acquired a fashionable edge in women’s wear. Leather chokers and large arm bracelets look dapper with jumpsuits, paired with delicate stilettos.
6. T. Shirts
Summer tees with various sleeve styles bearing funky, corny, interesting messages written on them have been in vogue from a long time. What’s great about these wrinkle free tees is that they are inexpensive, easy to maintain and can be matched with denims, short skirts, leggings and shorts in any time of the year. Of course, the smarter your tee message, the bigger is the style statement that you make.
7. Mini Skirts/ Mini dresses
Even though it's a small piece of clothing, the mini skirt is a fashion trend that is going no where. Modern generation of girls love mini skirts. That’s a common truth. And we don’t wear mini only when it is trendy, we wear it no matter what is trendy!
Fashion stylist Rachel Zoe says miniskirts are the must-have fashion item of the moment. She also comments on why shorter skirts are good for your figure.
She said:
Mini is the length that’s happening right now. Shorter skirts elongate legs.”
Mini skirts and mini dresses look great but when you dress to go out remember one simple fashion rule: don’t expose too much. If you wear a short skirt make sure you don’t reveal anything else. Otherwise you can overdo!
8. Maxi dresses
The breezy flowy maxi dress comes in a variety of fits and fabrics to flatter all ages and shapes. A very on-trend way of wearing a maxi is to team it with pieces that dumb-down the feminine edge. Flat gladiator sandals or platform wedges will toughen-up the look or throw over a safari-style jacket.
9. Black blazer
The black blazer is one style staple that I find utmost fascinating. This is because it always looks great on any body size, and also, it has a slimming effect. It can be paired with a dress, t.shirt, tank tops, etc thereby either taking your outfits to either casual or formal.
10. Bold Colours
Wearing of bold colours can sometimes be stated as an on and off trend. But as far as I'm concerned, the concept of wearing bold colours is a fashion trend that has pulled through generations. It is hugely appreciated in this season where Colour Blocking is now trending. Everything from neons to bright coral, red, yellow, emerald and vibrant blues, they have been in nearly most of the spring summer collections of big fashion houses.
