MTN Lagos Fashion and Design week: The Exhibitors

The first ever MTN Lagos Fashion and Design week kicked off on the 19th of October and created an all around buzz across the Lagos metropolis, as designers, fashionistas and creatives gathered at Eko Hotel to make the event a success. The event comprised of a fashion design exhibition and a catwalk show.

A nurse who threw her hands into the air and begged for Jesus to help as a baby suffered a heart attack has been thrown out of the profession.Omolayo Abayomi 'panicked' when the child, who suffered from a chronic lung disease, turned blue and stopped breathing in his cot at home.

I Love Myself!

That picture has been my wallpaper on my phone for several months, and it always draws the same response whenever anybody grabs my phone…’you love yourself?’ and I always deliver the same response. ‘Yes, I do’.  A few people would go further to ask me why I loved myself, my response would be ‘and why not?’ the next question following would be ‘why can’t you love someone else?’ my ready response would be ‘if you don’t love yourself enough, how can you love someone else?’
